The Royal is in the background.
I love how open and to the point some people are.

  1. That is a great idea, and you've already got some interesting feedback.
The PT aspect of typing is how I got started collecting. I gave the Physical Therapist one after she was amazed when my hands healed so rapidly.

  2. That's pretty damn cool. I think I will start distributing my extras that way!

  3. Hey! Good stuff. I just had a really silly, but interesting idea looking at this.

  4. How wonderful. I hope it continues to inspire all those who find it.

  5. Mark, you did a good thing there. There's a satisfaction to be had in reading the throwaway ramblings of strangers. I wonder if it could grow into a writers' group and some publication?

  6. Great! The concept of a public typing station (see the latest post on Welcome to the Typosphere) deserves to grow. It can be deployed en masse (as in What the Hell is St. Louis Thinking?) or with tactical precision (as here).

I cannot afford it at the moment, but perhaps in the future if you still have it.

  8. You've inspired me to do the same thing at the coffee shop that hosted my type-in. Perfect place for the 1950's Remington Standard I got in a trade. http://vermontvintagetypewriter.blogspot.com/
